Monique - Senior Portraits

Recently I shot some senior portraits of my sister in law's sister, Monique. I had a whole bunch of ideas but setting up lighting and details in the studio can be time consuming (I'm used to shooting things on a macro level). Monique has a great look to her...the black frame glasses, bleach blonde hair and a very apparent "Monique" smirk. We did some more "natural" lighting shots and then played around with the ring light...which I am a big fan of. Also got a few shots outside when the sun was going down. Check out the rest of the images in my portfolio page under human life.

Oh neato, your page is all blog-like now. Good. Keep it this way forever.

I just saw a picture in your abstract section called 'Descent'. I don't recall ever seeing that one before. It's real nice. I bet there is an appropriate '80's slang word to describe it. Dope perhaps? Rad? Rockin'? No, no wait...it's boss. Totally boss, McFly.

Hey. I'm a high school senior right now. I was just looking for examples of what to do. I'm also a photographer for our yearbook, so a lot of my friends want me to take some pictures of them. So again, just looking for some inspiration. I really like this idea. Very cute. I wanted to look through your portfolio, but I cant seem to find it. Can you just comment back with a direct link? Thanks!

The eighties was a great and wonderful era to have grown up in or lived in!
